Leon Hawkins is the Business Development Leader for Honeywell Building Solutions in British Columbia. In this capacity, Leon is responsible for leveraging Honeywell technology in the support of developing operational and business solutions for new and prospective clients. As such, Leon was instrumental in forging the partnership between Honeywell and UBC for the CIRS program. This partnership continues in the development of innovative and exciting demonstration programs for UBC and CIRS.

With over 14 years experience in the Building Technology industry, Leon has a diverse background of systems integration, project management, and technology development. Leon has worked closely with the CIRS team for over four years and has built the technology framework for the building.

Leon has a Bachelor of Engineering from Lakehead University and Diplomas in Instrumentation and Marine Engineering Technology. He is a Project Management Professional.

Leon lives in Surrey, British Columbia with his wife and three children.
