Joe Solomon is the social media coordinator for 350.org, a global grassroots climate campaign. Over the last two years, 350.org has used the power of the internet, combined with open-source organizing tactics, to mobilize public support for bold climate action, in nearly every nook and nation on the planet. Before joining efforts with 350.org, Joe helped start the Vancouver Net Tuesday group, regular gatherings of people interested in using web tools for real-world change (which is still going strong: www.nettuesday.ca ). He now lives and tweets from the shores of Lake Champlain, in Burlington, Vermont.
